C.F. Nielsen’s mechanical briquetting presses are designed to produce briquettes for industrial use or log-type briquettes intended for residential customers, marketed as fuel for fireplaces, wood stoves, or inserts. The raw materials suitable for this technology are primarily organic, such as wood (chips, sawdust, shredded wood), MDF, particle boards, torrefied wood, agricultural residues like peanut shells, corn stalks, miscanthus, vine shoots, as well as many waste materials and by-products, including paper, cardboard, RDF (Refuse-Derived Fuel), and polyurethane.
