Our Cross-milling machine type QBV 200 is constructed for producing cross milling and 90° drill holes and 90°drill holes in round milled or profiled timber as well as square timber.
This machine permits us to make perfectly adjusted end-form joints in round wood, with three-dimensional manual adjustment (height, depth, angle).
Areas of application are, for example, the angle joints for log houses, for timber frame constructions, wood material for use in "landscape architecture" sector, e.g. fences, carports, flower boxes, raised planters, safety, guard rails, etc.
The Cross-milling machine consists of a frame, a solid welded steel construction,
with swivelling drilling device and and a drilling support column supported by a gas spring, as well as a device for adjusting the position of the drilling column.
The wood is clamped manually using two clamping jaws that position it exactly.
With the special tool, which is a round saw, asymmetrical or end-even frontal machining can be performed.
The QBV can also drill a 90 ° hole in the logs by flat drills with a maximum diameter of 120 mm
