Activ/rh is recruiting for a company near Strasbourg, a subsidiary of a German company specializing in the manufacture of tools for various industrial sectors such as wood, PVC, and metals: Design Office Technician M/F
The Position:
As a member of the technical department, you will be responsible for the study and design of custom tools. You will work closely with customers and sales representatives, and your responsibilities will include:
• Analyzing projects,
• Listening to customers in order to propose appropriate technical and economic solutions,
• Developing technical and commercial proposals,
• Monitoring ongoing projects,
• Providing technical support to the sales team.
Required profile – Education and Experience
We are looking for a candidate with technical training at the vocational diploma or two- to three-year college degree level in the wood industry, accompanied by proven initial professional experience in the industry.
Proficiency in technical drawing software (such as AUTOCAD, etc.) and office automation tools (Word, Excel, etc.) is desirable. You must also be rigorous, organized, flexible, and able to work independently.
Your curiosity, technical skills, and ability to build good relationships will be valuable assets for success in this position. A good command of foreign languages, English and/or German, is essential for communicating with headquarters.
