The TRV 1200L Ø 550 is an automatic crosscut saw for firewood production, designed to process large volumes of sawmill waste in a continuous, practical and efficient manner. It is a versatile, fast and robust machine, ideal for sawmills focused on firewood production.
The TRV 1200L is used to process waste from multi-blade saws and lateral slab offcuts, converting recovery material into finished product. Material is loaded in a disordered manner onto a low-wear belt, without the need for pre-alignment or preparation.
A dedicated clamping system allows the processing of overlapping pieces with different shapes and thicknesses, ensuring continuous feed even with irregular material. The machine is divided into five sectors, each equipped with an independent pneumatic cylinder with shock absorbers, allowing automatic adaptation to incoming material.
The cutting cycle is managed by a PLC, with automatic control of the crosscut saw and timed length control of the cut pieces, ensuring consistent output and high productivity.
Safety is an integral part of the design: all moving parts are protected by access doors with forced-opening safety switches; the system is equipped with a single sealed non-duplicable key, a protective tunnel against forced lifting, a quick blade motor stop (under 10 seconds), and a heavy-duty blade guard to fully contain splinters.
For higher production requirements, the TRV 1200L can be completed with dedicated accessories, such as inclined motorized evacuation conveyors and discharge systems, to fully exploit the machine’s potential.
