S&F star screens are used in recycling and the timber industry.
Star screens of the "AST" series screen moist, fibrous materials such as bark or green waste. Disc screens are used for screening hot material or for coarse pre-screening.
S&F star screens consist of several equally spaced and parallel shafts. They are fitted with star- or disc-shaped rollers rotating side by side. Advantages are the high separation efficiency with moist input material, the high capacity in a confined space and the robust design of the screening machine.
Screening machines of the "AST" series are available in different widths and lengths and enable material-dependent screening capacities of up to 250 m³/h.
