ANTI-EXPLOSION PANELS
The anti-explosion panels with predetermined breakage certified according to EN14797, are safety devices against overpressure in the storage or transport equipment of flammable materials. Predetermined breakage pressure panels are the solution to prevent damage to people and things by triggering an explosion in Filters, Silos or containers containing dust, liquids or mists that generate gas during the processing process. They are not reusable safety elements and do not release fragmentations of their structure in case of explosion in order to avoid direct damage to people and things. With the burst overpressure, the panels open at predetermined points and allow the exit of the pressure through the complete surface of the open panel. The PA panel series, built in AISI 316L, is developed in the mentioned models that can be used in pressure or vacuum environments with the use of the internal steel support grid. An external flange ensures a correct locking of the panel itself to the structure where it is fixed and an internal gasket (AERSTOP or Silicone) eliminates the leakage of air into the environment through the predetermined cuts in the panel. An inductive break sensor, also applicable to the rear, allows complete control of the panels, and in case of breakage sends a signal that allows easy replacement. Sensor and sensor holder are reusable unless the damage is destructive.
